Pilot Trial Facility

GEM Drytech’s pilot trial facility is designed to simulate real drying conditions and help customers assess technical feasibility before full-scale implementation. The setup allows us to study product response, moisture removal pattern, heat transfer behavior, discharge characteristics, and final product quality under controlled operating conditions.

Each material behaves differently during drying. Some require gentle handling, some need controlled heat exposure, while others demand special attention to stickiness, discharge, or final product form. Our applications-tested page helps visitors understand the breadth of materials evaluated and the practical value of pilot validation before scale-up.

What It Helps Evaluate

  • Drying and handling behavior
  • Batch vs. continuous suitability
  • Moisture reduction potential
  • Impact on product quality
  • Basis for system sizing

Capabilities

  • Trials on actual customer samples
  • Suitable for diverse materials
  • Identifies handling and process issues
  • Records key trial observations
  • Supports next-step recommendations

Trial Process and Sample Report

Our trial process is structured to keep testing practical, transparent, and useful for scale-up decisions. From sample receipt to result discussion, every step is designed to help the customer understand what was tested, how the material behaved, and what the findings mean for a commercial drying system.

Testing Workflow

  • Sample Receipt – We receive the customer’s sample along with basic product and process information.
  • Material Review – Our technical team studies moisture condition, stickiness, particle nature, handling properties, and drying objective.
  • Trial Planning – Suitable trial parameters are selected based on product characteristics and expected outcome.
  • Pilot Testing – The material is tested on the pilot setup under monitored operating conditions.
  • Observation & Recording – Key process observations and output behavior are documented during the run.
  • Result Review – Trial findings are reviewed by the technical team to identify the right drying approach.
  • Recommendation – A practical next-step recommendation is shared for commercial system planning.

How We Keep It Useful

  • Trials are carried out on actual material rather than theoretical assumptions.
  • Output is reviewed from both process and product quality perspective.
  • Results are discussed in relation to scale-up feasibility and equipment selection.
  • Customers get clearer input for internal technical and commercial decisions.

The trial result page should demonstrate that GEM Drytech’s testing program is not only practical but also documented. By sharing sample report snapshots or report-style visuals, the page can build confidence in the seriousness and technical depth of the pilot process.

Applications Tested

Over time, GEM Drytech has evaluated a wide range of materials for drying feasibility, output improvement, and process optimization. The pilot trial section can be presented as an application showcase that demonstrates our experience across multiple industries and product categories.

Suggested Application Categories

  • Food products and food ingredients
  • Fruit and vegetable residues, pomace, and fiber-rich materials
  • Sludge and wastewater treatment by-products
  • Chemical powders, slurries, and intermediate materials
  • Agro products, biomass, and organic residues
  • Sticky, fibrous, heat-sensitive, or difficult-to-handle materials
